Frequently asked questions
Is the generated PDF created on a server?
No. The PDF is built entirely in your browser using a client-side PDF library — nothing is uploaded, and your invoice data never leaves your device.
How is the tax amount calculated?
Tax is calculated as a percentage of the subtotal (the sum of all line item amounts), then added to get the final total shown at the bottom.
Can I add multiple line items?
Yes, use 'Add line item' to add as many rows as you need, each with its own description, quantity, and rate. Remove any row you don't need.
What happens if I don't fill in every field?
A business name, client name, and at least one described line item are required before you can download the PDF — everything else, including notes and address lines, is optional.
