Terms of Service
Last updated: June 24, 2026
This is a starter terms of service document. It should be reviewed and customised for your specific situation — and ideally checked by a legal professional — before you rely on it for any legal or compliance purpose.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using ToolHive ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
ToolHive provides a collection of free, browser-based utility tools (calculators, text tools, developer tools, image tools, PDF tools, and others). All processing happens client-side in your browser. No registration or account is required.
3. Free to use
All tools on ToolHive are free to use for personal and commercial purposes. No licence fee is charged for using the tools or their outputs.
4. No warranty
The Service and all tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of results. We make no guarantee that any tool output is correct, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose.
5. Your responsibility for outputs
You are solely responsible for verifying and validating any output produced by the tools before relying on it. This includes but is not limited to:
- Financial calculations (EMI, GST, SIP, percentages)
- Legal or business documents (invoices, quotations, resumes)
- SEO files (sitemaps, meta tags, robots.txt)
- PDF operations (merging or splitting files)
Always review outputs before using them professionally or submitting them to third parties.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ToolHive and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or reliance on any tool output.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or exploit the Service.
- Reverse-engineer or scrape the Service in ways that harm its availability for others.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.
