Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Splitting happens entirely in your browser using a client-side PDF library. Your file never leaves your device.
How do I write a page range?
Use a dash for a range (e.g. 1-3) and commas to separate multiple ranges or single pages (e.g. 1-3, 5, 7-10). Each comma-separated entry produces its own PDF file.
What happens if I enter a page number that doesn't exist?
You'll see a clear error message telling you the range is outside the document's page count, so you can correct it before splitting.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
No, encrypted or password-protected PDFs can't be read by the in-browser library. Remove the password first using your PDF viewer, then split.
